With the change in tax on sugary cordials and squashes, many are now ‘no added sugar’ but are filled with additives and sweeteners. This course will teach you how to go back to basics, creating your own full sugar additive free squashes the taste of which will amaze you. This course is a two day course and runs on a Tuesday and Wednesday allowing you to process the cordials and allow them to steep overnight. You will then return for a longer session on the Wednesday to go through the filtering and bottling methods to allow you to keep your cordial fresh for as long as possible.
Included in the course;
- all ingredients to make two seasonally flavoured cordials
- glass bottles to store your new creations and continue creating in the future
- recipes, hints and tips
Tea, coffee and biscuits all included. Only 3 spaces are available per session to ensure that everyone gets the attention they need and can ask questions as they come up.
The courses are run in Westerham, Kent, which is easily accessed by road and public transport links. Please get in contact if you need further help in getting to us. Timings on the Tuesday are 10am to 12pm and on the Wednesday are 10am to 1pm. Finishing timings are flexible depending on the pace of work. I can offer courses in the evening so long as a full course is achieved.
